Additionally, I have a Master's degree in teaching secondary education from Oakland University (2014) and a Bachelor's degree in writing and nonprofit administration from Grand Valley State University (2008). I graduated magna cum laude from both universities.

I have tutored local and international students for over 5 years. What started out as a side job has turned into my passion, career and my own tutoring business: Modern Tutoring and Education Services. I love to read (I have a rather large book collection), watch crime dramas, write on my blog, and spend time with family, including my two cats King & Nina. When I can, I enjoy travelling; I've been to Australia and South Africa, as well as many Caribbean islands. I do enjoy baking for friends and family; I'm well known for my banana bread and zucchini bread.
